Bangladesh Mahila Parishad's Belabo organizational district branch in Narsingdi organized a discussion meeting as part of its member recruitment and renewal drive for Organizational Month 2026, under the theme "Strengthen Bangladesh Mahila Parishad, Advance the Women's Movement." The event was held on Sunday, September 20, at 4 PM at the Belabo Mahila Parishad office, and focused on exchanging views with young people about their needs and contemporary issues.

The meeting was presided over by Afroza Akter, a member of the Belabo branch, and moderated by program executive Ashish Kumar Shill. Among those present were General Secretary Nazrin Haque Hena, Legal Aid Secretary Roksana Akter, Environment Secretary Fatema Begum, and Publicity Secretary Shahinur Akter, along with young members and participants from various branches. A total of 38 people attended the session.

Speakers, including Roksana Akter, Fatema Begum, Shahinur Akter, and young members Akida, Tuba, and Iffa, emphasized the crucial role of active youth participation in establishing women's rights, empowering women, and bringing positive change to society. They stressed the importance of organizing young people to make the women's movement more dynamic. Attendees shared their views on women's rights, social awareness, and various contemporary issues during the session.
